Hi. I’m Joey Hagedorn. I’m the proprietor here. I am a student currently attending the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. I’ll be studying computer science there until May 2008 when I graduate. Also, I work at Argonne National Laboratory in the summer and on breaks as a Co-op student, and while at school I have worked for the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University, and now do software development for the HCI group in the CS department.

Why a website?

There are a number reasons why I put up this site. First, I need to have a place to put my e-mail address, resume, pictures, etc. Second, I want to have a place on the web where I can share some of the experiences I have with technology, and hopefully solutions to problems that I encounter, in the hope it will help random Googlers. Next, I think some people might be interested in the things I do; so I’ll put up pictures or something. Finally, it is a place for me to share things with friends. I hope you enjoy.
