Upon searching Google, it looks like a product by the name of "DMX PIPE" is compatible with OS X, but you again may need to write a bit of a shared library level driver with your own API to use it, because it appears that the download link just provides the generic FTDI D2XX drivers. Because the DMX-512 protocol is so straightforward, it is easy to work with at the driver level. If you're not afraid of a little C, I'd recommend pursuing it.
