Since I wrote it, <a href="http://dheera.net/projects/facebook.php" rel="nofollow">Facebook.pm</a>, a perl module API was developed and removed from the internet because it made it very easy to violate the Facebook terms of service. If you are interested in doing something similar, be sure to read such terms of service.
