alone
I prefer to eat alone. This is certainly the case. There is one small problem; I have no capability to get up and tend to the inevitable needs that will arise throughout the meal. I may run out of water, or need an extra napkin, or want to go wash my hands, but cannot leave my seat for I cannot leave my food unattended. I encountered this exact situation as I was dining at Chipotle today.
Once I ordered at Noodles, then went to the bathroom to wash my hands after leaving my # on the table. Somebody had eaten one of my potstickers when I had returned. That was terrible.
In happier news, my new alarm clock woke me up today:
I still need to talk to the gentleman in Urbana about a proper cleaning. I am very pleased with this clock, and though it shows a bit of wear, the tick isn’t too loud, and the chime is beautiful.
[…] When I got home I found my Clock was still not back from being cleaned. Maybe I should call them up? I had to look at how the time was flying by on my Nixie clock instead. […]
