Indimidation

Filed under: Life — Joey @ 3:05 am

I am intimidated by the other bloggers. Make no mistake about it, I am a self-doubting individual, who dispises those who hold themselves in low esteem, but still I have no idea why people are going to read this on a regular basis. I have found professional bloggers, mostly from New York (like Interpol is from New York– that kind of New York) who clearly know what they’re doing, and it appears there is a lot of money involved somewhere– I have found a local blogger who is Extremely Awkward, and I am terribly interested in hearing what she writes, but am afraid my words don’t have the same ring to them– And I know of bloggers who do it for another cause– people with an agenda. (he’s trying to sell his software). I have nothing quite that organized. Although everything I do is intentional. nonetheless, I am feeling weak in a territory I should be strong, because I am a professional at computering and internets. Lets hope something comes of this.

I did go and lease that apartment on Harvey today. I’m excited; it will be my first real place. It is bitterly cold in my room in Hendrick House as I write this. I keep asking them to turn the heat up and they just don’t get it. I did not visit the UI Tennant Union, but i’m pretty sure the lease is standard. OOh and covered parking! very exciting about that. Anybody need a sublease over the summer of 2007?

So, for example, in this post I used links as examples of larger groups– the Professional Bloggers and Bloggers with an agenda– they’re both big groups, right– but that may or may not have been clear from the post. I’m such an amateur.
